Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology

Radiologic Technology is a healthcare profession that focuses on medical imaging of human anatomy to diagnose and treat pathology. This field of study involves the application of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, radiofrequency, sound waves, and even the creation of three-dimensional images, which is true to diagnostic radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasonography. Apart from diagnostic purposes, Radiologic Technology encompasses therapeutic applications such as Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy while adhering to accepted radiation safety practices.

The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology is a four-year program consisting of three years of general education and professional courses (including laboratory classes) and one year of clinical training. The program develops students' professionalism and accuracy in providing healthcare services utilizing imaging modalities to promote patients' optimal health. Further, the program places premium on radiation protection and safety during diagnostic and therapeutic examinations.
