The Senior High School Department utilizes a holistic approach to education to develop students into self-sufficient, God-fearing, responsible, and fully integrated learners and citizens capable of overcoming the complexities of today's world.

The Senior High School (Main Department) is a two-year program consisting of three strands, namely STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management), and TVL (Tehnical, Vocational, and Livelihood). The STEM program is designed for students interested in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Architecture, Pure Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Teacher Education, and Medical Sciences (Nursing, Medical Allied Program). The ABM program is designed for students interested in Accounting, Management Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Development Management, and Hospitality Management, among others. THe TVL program is designed for students interested in Information and Communications Technology, Home Economics, Agri-Fishery Arts, and Industrial Arts.

Liceo de Cagayan University Senior High School educates the youth by instilling in them a commitment to the core values espoused by the University, which are excellence, integrity, loyalty, discipline, and community service. Pursuant to the institutional mission, the High School Department is dedicated to the provision of holistic education that transforms students into independent, God-fearing, responsible, and fully integrated persons and citizens able to hurdle the multifaceted tasks in this challenging world.

The Senior High School Main Program aims at producing graduates who possess:

  1. Academic proficiency in preparation for their post-secondary education.
  2. Articulateness, innovativeness, self-reliance, creativity, accountability, and maturity.
  3. An understanding of their duties and responsibilities at home, thus becoming responsible members of their own family.
  4. Social responsibility by being respectful, considerate, and cooperative in any group work. 
  5. A sense of community by helping maintain cleanliness and peace and order.
